They are built by earning trust, serving people with consistency, and giving them something worth believing in. Market Like a Rockstar is a refreshing reminder that the goal isn’t simply to create customers—it is to create advocates. Tai Anderson has written a book that every leader, entrepreneur, and marketer would be wise to read.
I’ve known and loved Tai since we first met on tour many years ago, so I’m probably biased... but thankfully this book is genuinely great.
It’s packed with practical ideas, hard-won wisdom, and the kind of life principles that remind us that the best marketing rarely feels like marketing at all. It feels like serving people well.
Also, unlike most marketing books, I didn’t find myself checking how many pages were left.
When the SEC introduced "It Just Means More," it was never intended to be just a slogan. It reflected our belief that enduring brands are built on authentic relationships, shared purpose, and delivering on a promise every day. In Market Like a Rockstar, Tai Anderson captures those same principles, offering practical insights on how leaders can build brands that don't simply attract customers; they create loyal communities of lifelong fans.
Tai Anderson is one of the most unique and remarkable people I have ever known. He’s been an incredible friend for many years and in these pages you will hear some of the stories of how our band Third Day benefited from Tai’s hard work, multiple talents, and drive.
This book is like 3-in-1 with the combination of Third Day/Tai biography, marketing insights and tips, with personal growth/encouragement lessons for all who read it.
Tai brings the same passion to his marketing seminars and keynotes as he does to his Grammy-winning music. Market Like a Rockstar is a brilliant blueprint for building any kind of business. By weaving in his personal stories from on and off stage Tai entertains, inspires and engages like no other.
Years ago I told THIRD DAY I don't believe in crossover. I believe in spillover. They lived it, and it built a career that outlasted the trends. In Market Like A Rockstar, Tai turned that idea into a playbook any brand can run. The result isn't just customers. It's lifelong fans.
I’ve spent 30 years building businesses and leading people across consulting and workforce solutions- and I know what it looks like when someone has figured out something others haven’t yet put into words.
Whether you’re new to marketing or have been at it for decades, Tai gives you frameworks that actually transfer to the real world. The music industry context isn’t a detour- it’s the proof of concept.
I met Tai and Third Day in 1996. He was 19 years old. The band hired me as their first tour manager. I’ve worked with Tai and the band in various roles for a majority of the past 30 years. From day one of knowing him, Tai has thought about marketing, branding and expanding the reach of Third Day. This book is a fun read packed full of passion, fresh insights and practical perspectives from a guy who has lived what he’s teaching.
In Market Like a Rockstar, Tai brings together his world-class creativity, deep marketing expertise, and exceptional leadership insights into a playbook that is both inspiring and actionable. Whether you’re an entrepreneur, executive, marketer, or business leader, this book will challenge the way you think about building a brand, connecting with customers, and standing out in a crowded marketplace.
If you want to learn from someone who consistently operates at the highest level of innovation and execution, this book is a must-read.
I could tell in the first five minutes of talking with Tai 30 years ago in Holland that he had that unique blend of business and creativity. As Third Day became a global force, it was clear that Tai was influencing it all. From the stage production, to branding to merchandise to rock n roll, it was easy to spot Tai’s fingerprints. Not a surprise that the wisdom he accumulated can impact any industry.
